Then there was a ledge with no safety chains!
Not being comfortable with heights, I had to stare at the wall to avoid gazing straight down in to the canyon!
I am amazed when I think of the people who established these trails many years ago.
They had courage, curiosity, and dedication.
I am grateful for their tenacity, as today I enjoy the hiking challenge.
