Aug. 31: Balloon Festival

 

Every year, on the Labour Day weekend, Gatineau hosts the Hot Air Baloon Festival.

This is a view of lift-off, or launch, from the festival sight.

Sometimes as many as 50 balloons lift off, over the space of an hour.

It is marvelous!
