February 4 ~ On the "Run'

On the 'run' portion of the triathlon,

I couldn't resist taking a minute to capture these pristine shadows

 and the lone building, at Carleton U's locks.

February 3 ~ Lansdown

By the time I reached Lansdown, I was well behind the pack of skaters.

I had time to take photos and reflect upon the new condo building by the canal...

what a horrible eye-sore!

February 2 ~ The Lead Skaters

After the first 'turn around' at Carlton U,

the lead pack of skaters heads for the second turn around, at 5 th Ave.

300  hundred individuals, and 42 teams participated!

The sun bounces off the Arts Tower.

February 1~ From Within the Race Pack

January 31 ~ 8 am on the canal, -24!

January 30 ~ Pattern

This delicate little flower was in my garden last summer, and now I am trying to winter it over.

The flower measures less than 3 cm across, so I took a  micrto shot for this.

Until I looked at it on the computer, I didn't notice the 'hatch' marks,

made from the pattern of the sun shining through the screen!
