One year ago today, Dianne and I were on our way to Nepal!
Our anxieties disappeared at the airport when we were met by Apil.
Apil's father and I were teaching partners in Nepal in 1997, in Pokhara, and we have remained friends ever since. Apil was 15, the last time I saw him, ten years ago. Now he is a Doctor in Kathmandu.
