March 23 ~ Betty and her Friendship Tree
When my friend Betty retired from teaching at Victory Public School, adjacent to Exhibition Park in Guelph, her requested retirement gift was the planting of a tree, the plaque reading "Friendship Tree'. The kids could then say - 'Meet you after school at the friendship tree!'
